Mystery Bag????

A few weekends ago I went to visit my Dad and he gave me this massive bag, it was so heavy..........

What do you think might be inside it? Lets take a peek shall we.............

What ever it is there sure is a lot of it..........

Ohhh I see now they are BUTTONS!!! Hundreds and Hundreds of buttons! So many different shapes, colours and textures.

I made a quick trip to Ikea to pick up some storage containers for them. I decided I would only use half of the bag.
Here they are all lined up and sorted by colour!

I think I've learned my lesson - never tell my Dad I'm on the look out for anything because I may get more than I wished for!!!

I think you may see a lot more buttons on my cards from now on :)

Happy Sunday

Just Add Ink - Black and White

Yay it's my second week as Guest Designer over at Just Add Ink and the challenge is a great one!!!
Just Add
BLACK AND WHITE

I had this cute little chipboard birdcage and birds (from scrapmatts) that I brought agggges ago from a craft convention. It was about time that I used them and I thought they fitted perfectly for this challenge. I've just inked them up with black for the cage and white for the birds.

Notice how I daubed around the edges of the Presto Patterns paper and the hidden pattern shows up - I think it looks very elegant!!

I've used:

Paper
-Whisper White, Basic Black and
Presto Patterns paper
Ink -
Basic Black and White craft
Stamp Set - No stamps!
Other: Black satin ribbon, lace, black bling brads and Scrapmatts Birdcage and birds
