Sorry this post is little late but I thought I'd scheduled it for yesterday but I must have forgotten to do that part :P

Just Add Ink have a very different challenge this week - just add woodgrain!!
There are plenty of ways you can incorporate woodgrain in to your creation, just like the design team have done so pop on over and check them all out.

I thought woodgrain would really suit a masculine card and that's what I set out to make however I remember this pretty Stampin' UP! lace and thought it would look really nice too.  SO I ended up with a card that I'll give to my Mum for mothers day.  Does that ever happen to you... change of focus mid creation??

Just Add Ink 163 - Fun Background!

Thanks for popping into my blog today!

Just Add Ink have a cool challenge this week - Just add a FUN BACKGROUND.

There are so many possibilities with this challenge that it was had for me to narrow down what I was going to do.

I decided to use some core'dination cardstock, run it through my cuttlebug in a honeycomb embossing folder and then I used my sanding block to rub back the cardstock to show the white core!

It was fun making this background as it was a little hands on and I love how the white just pops out at you.

The design team have created plenty of other fun backgrounds to give you some inspiration so hop on over to the JAI blog, check them out and then show us your creation!

Just Add Ink 161 - Colour Challenge

Well hello lovelies!

Just Add Ink have a big colour challenge this week for you - Midnight Muse, More Mustard and Rich Razzelberry!
Three very big bold colours to work with.

I found these colours hard to work with so I decided to procrastinate invest some time colouring images and after colouring these Pleasant Poppies I thought they would be great for the challenge!!

I've used a little spritz on the poppies to add a little sparkle!

Just Add Ink - Add a Bunny!

Happy Good Friday!

How great does it feel knowing that you've got 4 days off work - whoop whoop!!! Can you tell I'm excited?

I hope that you might find some time this long weekend to play with the Just Add Ink challenge of adding a bunny to your project.

I don't have any bunny stamps so I did some googling to see how I could create something and came up with this little guy! (I can't remember exactly which website I saw this on).  For my bunny's body and head I've used two circle punches and a oval punch for the ears.

For the little pink tail I used a little flower punch!
